Asad Kirmani is a Writer/Director/Producer and a practicing psychiatrist in Austin, TX. While in medical school he produced and directed a film, All the Wrong Reasons, a full-length comedy feature about a hapless young medical student. While doing his psychiatric residency in New York City he produced and directed Curing Gender, a documentary about the history of psychiatry and transsexuality that has been used educationally by a number of hospitals and institutions across the country, and was shown at the 2013 American Psychiatric Association Annual Meeting in San Francisco. He has written and directed two short films, Stress Freud and Pornistan. Pornistan won the 2013 Flatland Film Festival Chris Caddel Filmmaker Award and was a Finalist for Best Comedy Short at the 2014 Central Florida Film Festival.

Irrfan Husain, Producer/Executive Producer, is an ER Doc by day, film producer by night. Or...ER Doc by night, film producer by day. His circadian rhythms are all messed up! Hijabi is his second short film production after Pornistan.

Chase Chesnutt is a Cinematographer who earned his BS from The University of Texas studying Radio/TV/Film. He has worked as the director of photography or camera operator on numerous short films, commercials, music videos, and features, including various commercials for Verizon, Nike, and Chase Bank.

Blake Skaggs is an Editor who has worked on a number of narrative films, documentaries, commercials, reality tv, sitcoms, web series, music videos. Most recently, he was Assistant Editor on the SXSW audience award winning film Zero Charisma and edited Dana Falconberry's "Please Sparrow" music video which was featured in SPIN magazine.

Aisha Melhem (ALIA)is a native Austinite and received a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with an emphasis in acting with honors in 2008 from St. Edward's University, Austin, Texas and a Master of Arts in Theatre with an emphasis in directing from Texas State University, San Marcos, Texas 2010. She is the Artistic Director and Founder of B*Tru Arts, a multicultural organization which focuses on using the arts for the betterment of the community. She is a resident artist at The Vortex in Austin, TX and has been featured in several productions, winning several awards for her performances. Brittany Lewis (NICOLE)is a Dallas born actress who has been working in Austin for the past 2 years. She has studied with many well known local acting coaches such as Step Rowe, Mona Lee, and CK McFarland. She recently just graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in psychology. Brittany is currently working on several short films and TV shows in Dallas and Austin.

Rahul Chakraborty (FATHER) comes from theater. Extensively trained in New York, LA, Austin and Houston, he has numerous films and theater productions to his credit, recently All Way Bent (Dir: Bryan Hadley). He is the co-founder of M.I.S.T (Masks, Issues & Stages Traversed) that presents stories of marginalized voices. He speaks 4 languages.
